After the world is destroyed in a nuclear war over the production of cannabis, a new civilization rises up. The Virgil Empire. King Virgil overworks, underfeeds, and mistreats his citizens, so a fringe group of rebels named the Dark Knights have vowed to dethrone him.

It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. This is a Sander Sides story about Virgil. The sides can be hurt or even die. They can feel pain and emotions other than what they represent. When a side dies, something happens. It starts with there body instantly disappearing when they die. Soon after their room will start losing color, fading to black and white. Then items in their room will start disappearing until it's left bare. Finally the entire room and door will disappear along with any items left in it. Then everyone's mind will be wiped of any memory of that side ever existing. Do not read if you are easily triggered. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. And I'm also the owner of the many side and minor background characters that may or may not get names.
