daphne harris was born a kook, but raised as a pogue. she doesn't really have a 'family' as people call it. her dad abused her mom all her life. her mom ended up leaving and completely abandoning her child to save her own ass, but hey, can you blame her? for the last two years, she's been crashing with her best friends, john b and kiara, she usually was at john b's. surprisingly, she's happy with her life. living as a pogue, going on so many amazing adventures. 

the pogues were her family. but there was one boy in particular who she had always had a thing for. it grew the more he showed how much he cared and loved her. although, he never purposefully showed he gave a crap about her. he was always mean to her but when he did unintentionally show he did somewhat care, it made daphne like him more but at the same time, hate him. his family and her family are the same. no mom, and an abusive dad. she fell for him, and him? well, she doesn't know how he feels. she doesn't want to ruin it or make it worse.

Parents are these two addicts living on the south side and she's bounced back and forth between living with each of them and being put in shelters for foster kids on the mainland. Every time she manages to get out, thanks to her awesome social worker, Rosa. Now, Nat is the one that brought us all together, if I'll actually admit it, and she's the friendliest, flirtiest, funniest girl you'll ever meet. She doesn't really care much about the big rivalry between sides of the island, but is loyal to the Pogues and will back us up any time. You know how I said we all kinda have a thing for Kie? Well we all definitely have a thing for Nat. Don't tell JJ, cause he called dibs when we were eleven. Natalia Wade has strived her entire life to be better than her parents, to prove she isn't like them, and that she will not be just another deadbeat pogue from the cut. She truly believes that with hard work and some support from her true family (the Pogues) she will be successful and be able to support them like her parents never supported her. What happens when this plan is thrown off, all beginning with a treasure hunt?
