When Steve Rogers returned the infinity stones to their rightful timelines, he stayed back in the past and had a whole life. But what about the woman he left behind? Best friend turned sometimes lover, Veronica Stark let's Steve go find the happiness that had been so elusive to the man who'd been her best friend for eleven years. While he was the love of her life, clearly, she wasn't his. But what neither of them knew the day he went back in time was that she was pregnant. And by the time either of them find out, it's too late. With Steve an old man it forced Veronica to raise their baby mostly alone after he passed away.

Now an adult, Stephanie Stark-Rogers has grown up listening to the stories about the man who was her father. She both idolizes him and hates him making her thoughts on Steve...complicated at best. But putting aside what he did to her mother, all Steph wants is to meet him. For five minutes at the very least. It's what she deserves for having been all but abandoned by him. Going to her uncle, the only person who might be willing to send her back, just once, to meet her father and predecessor. It's a dicey thing to ask for since Tony Stark's relationship with the former Captain had been more than a little rocky at the end. Especially after what happened to his sister.
