The Mandalorian paused, turning his helmet over his shoulder.
"I need a safe place to heal before I can hop planets again." You swallowed thickly, skin going clammy as you grappled with the realization that you were doing this. "I don't know when they'll be back, and the blaster beam went through my calf. I can barely walk." To make your point, you pulled yourself completely up, sucking a sharp breath through your teeth. You weren't exaggerating, putting weight on your leg hurt like hell. "I need help. I know...I know the histories of our peoples-" You watched him tense further, "--but that's in the past now. I can't pay you, but please. Please help me."
