A girl named Amethyst lives with dragons and one day she finds a dragon. She is half Night Fury and she lives with the Queen. She names the dragon Shadow but something happens to her. Her family is dead and her second family died. Her and Shadow flies away and a storm kicks up she gets knocked out and awoke tied to a post. She looked around and meet some new friends and goes on a crazy journey.
