Before Bee had begun working for Activitude, Bee was unhired, and was desperately looking for some job to live off of. Nobody seemed to be wanting to hire them, until they heard about Activitude. Wanting to give it a shot, and with nothing to lose, Bee managed to create an avatar, buy a virtual headset and controllers, and enter the world of VR.
Working for Artificial Intelligence clients doesn't sound all that bad! It's not like their Activitude admin would cause much trouble, but then things turn for the worst.

Determined to find out the truth about Activitude, Bee fights to change everything, and reset Activitude to the way it was before.

Hold On (Book 1 of It's Not Over) by QDracul

[Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. And I'm also the owner of the many side and minor background characters that may or may not get names.

'Looking for quiet roommate.' 'Located in quiet area.' 'Apartment has previously received noise complaints.' Virgil groaned and tossed his phone onto his bed, burying his face in his hands. He just needed an apartment that would be okay with his job. Trying to keep to his price range and find what he needed was proving to be so much harder than he thought it would. This would be his first time moving somewhere that he didn't know the owners of the place beforehand. "Welcome to YouTube life, idiot." Virgil grumbled to himself. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize. Characters belong to Thomas Sanders, as we know, and all Sanders Sides ships are tagged because if I'm completely honest I haven't fully decided what endgame ships are going to be. Hope you enjoy! Reality's Escape: a collection of short stories by KeriMiss
61 parts Complete
This is a bunch of short stories I had to get out of my system. Each part is a complete story, so you don't have to worry about being left hanging! 1. Heist. I was was blinded by a sudden wave of story, character, and plot (which usually don't coincide with each other) while innocently on the way home from music practice. The result? A really cool story about a villain who doesn't stay bad and a heroine who isn't always good. 2. Antivirus. This is a story I wrote in high school, so bear with me... it took about three days in the writing, before I had much experience. Feel free to skip to the next story if you'd rather! 3. The Piano. For the romantic sentimental who like to wallow in what might have been. 4. The Night of January 7, 2018. Have you ever had one of those dreams that seemed incredibly real? Scarily deep and intense? 5. In The Archive of Biatre. This story is just a cute excerpt from my character's childhood. Note: only one character survives to the actual book. 6. Virtual Life. I have imagined what it would be like to live in a world that consisted of white walls, solar powered energy, and nearly complete dependence on machinery. 7. Almost an Override. This story is the result of a writing prompt on blog.reedsy.com which is an awesome website! I combined the prompt with my experience in customer service, and came out with something akin to comedy :) 8. A Perfectly Normal Thought Process. Another writing prompt from blog.reedsy.com about the "perfectly normal" state of my mind. 9. The Appointed Time. This was a New Year's prompt from blog.reedsy.com. It took me two days to finish, and all the characters are actually friends from church! 10. Leaving Footprints. Reaching the max character limit... blog.reedsy.com! 11. Sweet Little Things. Romance / horror genre blend. Prompt from blog.reedsy.com. 12. Created To Be. Need I say more? blog.reedsy.com And more!

Being constantly compared to ones brother can make one feel neglected. This is the case for Kai Walker. His brother was the star of the schools soccer team as well as the star of the basketball team. Everyone adored him and held him on a very high pedestal. This includes his own parents. For all of his sixteen years he has been constantly compared to his brother whether at home or at school. The most common phrase he hears is, 'Why can't you be more like your brother?' He made it through the years due to his only friend. A female childhood friend of both his and his brother, Amy Halland. But one sentence from her has sent Kai over the edge. The phrase he never thought he would hear from her. Yet it happened. Without hope he gives up, right after the sentence he decides to end his existence. He jumps from the school's roof ignoring the shouts from Amy. Yet it still didn't work. He wakes to found himself in a land unknown to him. A land full of magic, knights, and hero's. Unknowing that his current body is in hospital in a coma. His conscience, thanks to the famous Tranvent Corp gaming company, now resides within a new virtual reality game that they have created, Guild Stronghold. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Highest: #11 in Adventure (11/07/2017) #13 in Adventure (09/07/2017) #14 in Adventure (03/07/2017)
