Overnight, the human race becomes an endangered species as hostile creatures arrive on Earth. While humanity had spotted their approach, they couldn't have been prepared for the immediate violence that ensued.
     Ryder, a young man simply trying to survive through the erupting chaos, finds himself in an unimaginable situation as he is pulled into a conflict far larger than anything the world has ever faced. Given a choice to hide or fight, he joins up with some unlikely allies as he tries to take back his home. Contesting not only against his fear, but his own inner demons, he must work to uncover the clues surrounding his bizarre circumstances as he desperately tries to prevent the extinction of his entire species.

Scarred by a cataclysmic meteor strike, humanity struggles to rebuild amidst the wreckage. As civilization begins to take its first tentative steps forward, a bizarre twist of fate unfolds. Animals, exposed to a mysterious chemical agent released by the impact, undergo a radical transformation, gaining humanoid traits while retaining their primal instincts. Communication proves to be a barrier in the early years of their appearance. Humans, fearing for their species, ignited a war for dominance. Yet, as the conflict rages on, it becomes increasingly apparent that the scales are tipping in favor of the evolved animals. Humanity finds itself on the brink of extinction and, recognizing the futility of the conflict, a fragile peace is brokered between the two factions. Yet, despite the truce, tensions remain high. Interactions between what came to be called furries and humans are limited.
