Legolas is sent on a mission to find the three guard members that have been missing for eight days. He gets to choose two people to accompany him, he chooses the twin sons of Elrond, Elladan and Elrohir. They travel to a town called Stone Broke, a town that hates, and kills any elf that enters. When they arrive Elrohir slips up and reveals that he his pointed elven ear, to en unsuspecting human named Ghymnkash. The man? Follows them and tells them that he is an elf too. He takes a potion to conceal his elven features. He helps them find their three companions, but are all three alive?

The Return

But something happens on the road and Legolas and his captain, Thaladir, discover something disturbing about the new enemy. Something that could take them, Aragorn, and others as far as the Mines of Moria. How she still looked majestic, despite the scars on her face and hands was questionable. Why the elleth was in Rohan and where she disappeared to from time to time was a mystery. Festering Darkness
After a failed spider mission, Legolas is left injured beyond what the Greenwood healers can help. Thranduil, worried for his son's Fea, sends him to Imladris for help. But the unit escorting the prince is attacked on the way and Legolas, after barely escaping, then fleas to the most unlikely of places where he hides, refusing to tell anyone of his whereabouts, afraid to go to Imladris, afraid to go home. This story fills in some gaps from The Return and creates a few more that I may delve into in a later fic. The Odyssey of the daughter of the forest
In the dark forest of Mirkwood, shadows are growing, again and again. The leaves are becoming black, as the roots, and as the trees. Birds are not singing anymore. Flowers have disappeared. Even the sun has trouble to light the ground of the forest, once so alive and full of colours. A young elf with red hair is fighting every day for her people, who is retreating before its enemy, who is sending his troups from his black tower, in the south of Middle Earth. Orcs are coming, more and more numerous on their lands. The company of Thorin Oakenshield from the Blue Mountains will not succes to put an end to this invasion. Their fight will just postpone the deadline, by sacrifying many lives, and destroying many others. And by seperating for a while the path of two lovers, who are destined to meet again. Sixty years later, the elf joins the fellowship to save Middle Earth, once and for all, from the threat that are gliding above its people, for a long time.
