The Art of Falling Out of Love

The bitter taste of coffee hangs in the air as both men look at one and other, hurt-ridden eyes glazed over as their pupils explore each other's bodies', bodies' they are both so familiar with, enamoured by but have had to say goodbye to too many times. Their bodies mirror one and other while a single tear drips from each ones eye, an acknowledgement that they both understand they are not made for each other, not meant for each other, even if their bodies fit into one and other so perfectly. Stewart's nose recoils in disgust as the smell of coffee invades his nose, but it is a sacrifice he is willing to make for one more look at a man he'll never see again.

The art of forgetting is one that takes many years to master, but the art of falling out of love is on a different playing field, one that most people get correct, however Stewart and Spencer both know it is one they will spend a lifetime trying to get just right as they fall into the wrong arms once more.
