The Clone Wars have ended. The Republic is gone, with the dark shadow of the Empire taking it's place. Order 66 made every surviving Jedi go into hiding, with the rest being killed. Or worse.
But this story isn't about a Jedi, or a Sith. This is a story about a boy and a girl; the boy who was left behind, the girl who will teach him how to love.
Spoiler: The girl is Omega hehee (this is NOT a romance novel)

Warnings:
(Maybe inaccurate) descriptions/depictions of torture, and PTSD, slightly more than cannon-typical violence (I'd say about as much as in the RC books), mentions of depression, suicidal speech

Nearly five years ago, the Clone Wars ended with a purge that wiped an entire people from the galaxy. Jess, formerly known as CC-9976, a member of the 21st Nova Corps, shot down his Jedi general in accordance with Order 66. Now, Jess finds himself a stormtrooper for the Galactic Empire. The Empire is not the Republic that he was once so proud to serve. Jess finds himself being tested in ways he never was before. As the Empire tightens its fist around the galaxy, Jess makes the decision to escape. Jess makes his way out of Imperial control and, eventually, into the hands of the Rebellion. War is all he's ever known. Whether he is a clone, an Imperial soldier, or a Rebel fighter, one fact remains. He is a trooper and war is in his blood. Ryn Alera has only known slavery throughout her life. The last place she expected to find help was with the Empire. When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom. When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. She wasn't born a fighter, but if the galaxy's freedom requires it, she will be a soldier. Warning This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. There will be chapters that deal with abuse, death, slight gore, etc. (Canon characters as well as planets within the Star Wars universe are not created by me. I only take credit for my original characters and this story.) Trust is a fragile thing. Slow to form, easy to rip apart. For Jora Dame, it couldn't be more true. At barely sixteen, she was accused of a crime she didn't commit and nearly lost her life for it. When she realizes the Jedi are far from what they're supposed to be, Jora leaves the Jedi Order and few remaining friends to start a new life. As time passes, pieces of her past resurface, whether she likes it or not. With Order 66 happening, keeping her past identity hidden is harder than ever. The galaxy is dangerous now more than ever, the only option for surviving seeming to be trusting again. But that might be too much for Jora. "A crew member," he started to explain. "Or, you know, partner, I guess. I'm doing this job for someone, might need your help. What do you say?" "I'll pass," I said once I'd put the credits into a pouch with the rest and stuffing it into one of my many pockets. "I don't work well with people." "You're a deeply mistrusting person...and I respect that," he said, as if he knew my true reason. "But come on, you need the work. You probably haven't had a real meal in well over a month, have you? If this mission goes well, we can keep doing it until you get enough money to properly be on your own. It's not like I'll hurt you or anything. What do you have to lose?" I didn't say anything. What did I have to lose? Nothing. Not anymore. He was right, I was on my own, I hadn't eaten in days. This was the only chance I had, and if he was tricking me, well. I didn't have anything to lose. "Okay," I said finally. "I'm in."

Current word count: 226,788 WARNING: Depiction of injury ahead. I stumbled forward with my hands clasped over the wound in the middle of my stomach. How was I still standing? The pain was insufferable. The platform I was standing on was coated in darkness, endless rain pouring from the clouds and the waves deep down under the platform threatened to swallow the city in whole. The heavy cold drops were knocking against my head, but I felt something much warmer leaking from underneath my hands. I tried to push it harder, but there was no strength in my muscles. I almost tripped over my own legs. I heard a dull humming of some machinery as I dragged myself to the door. My legs started to shake uncontrollably when I raised one hand to push the door panel A deadly wounded young woman appears at Kamino and survives against all odds. Turns out Jedi order was missing her for several past years. But how did she appeared there and what happened to her meanwhile? And will she be able to find her place among the republic armies? And what about that trooper that she can't get out of her mind? I'm not good at descriptions, so please continue in reading the story :) MORE WARNINGS: Mentions of deaths, depictions of injuries, slight gore, romance. Hurt/comfort. LGBTQA+ characters. This is fanfiction and I don't own any of the canon characters or planets or world. I only claim ownership of the original characters :)
