Marygrove 1984 is a compelling fanfiction that explores the concept of 'what if' by imagining a scenario where the dystopian world of George Orwell's 1984 takes place in a high school named Marygrove. The story follows Winston and other characters from the original novel as they navigate a new environment filled with students and faculty members from Marygrove High School, all living under an authoritarian government. As Winston struggles to overcome the oppressive regime and navigate the different rebel groups vying for power, he discovers that some of these groups may be as oppressive, if not more so, than the government itself. Can Winston survive in this new world, or will he succumb to the pressures of the regime and its adversaries? Join us on this thrilling ride through Marygrove 1984, which will be released in three parts over the next three weeks, every Saturday.

London, 2068. This is my personal account of the events that had happened. A crisis had taken over the entire world. Gas. Steam. It was the industrial revolution all over again. War machines were powered by gas furnaces. Cars ran on coal. It was choking us. Slowly killing us. I could not breathe, the only thing that my tongue could taste was charcoal and ammonia. I realised that I had to do something about the situation that I was in, lest I die a slow and horrible death. No. It wasn't just me. 18 million lives were at stake. Time was against me. But then again...when was time ever my friend?
