Karlie Blaire, a 14 year old prodigy, has unknowingly put herself in danger. An aspiring photographer, she enters and wins so many contests, she lost count years ago. But when she is taking pictures at a local beach, she has no idea what she has photographed. Only a simple day later, announced on the news is a murder; taken place on the very same day on the very same beach Karlie was on. More details follow, and Karlie realizes something; she took a picture of the very man at almost the very moment is happened. Only Karlie and the murderer know. And he will stop at nothing to delete that picture. Can Karlie save herself, and make sure that the guilty man doesn't leave court free? Read to find out!

Tristan Young is, by all logical conclusions, a failure. His dream career of private investigation has left him with nothing but debt and an empty office. So when a mysterious phone call makes him a grand promise of fame and success, the decision to accept is simple. "But you're scared." He finished, running his fingers down her neck and to her collar bone, following the chain of her necklace, making her shiver, "So responsive." He murmured to himself. "Yes." She whispered, lips parted, eyes locked with his. She felt dirty for letting him be so close to her and touch her in a way that seemed so foreign and inappropriate- Yet exhilarating... "Maybe scared isn't the right word." His deep baritone voice rumbled, his fingers setting her skin on fire as he reached the opening of her top, the only thing dividing them, "Maybe, confused? Intimidated? But you're not scared of me, right, pet?" "I- I don't know." She answered, her heart pounding against her ribcage, making her shake nervously. "You're scared of this-" his hand lifted back up to circle around her throat and he applied slight pressure, but nowhere near enough to hinder her ability to breathe, "or this." He bent down so she could feel his hot breath skim across her cheek making her face flush.
