Goldie starts having visions and memories. Memories that aren't his. Through these strange dreams, he seeks to find out more about the past. He starts investigating, and pretty soon the others notice he's acting differently. Freddy worries that he could be up to another one of his evil plans. Meanwhile, Shadow Freddy carries on with his own plans, gaining more power through his agony. But there's something else going on behind the scenes...something evil.
