"If you are ever lucky enough to come across something so beautiful it shifts your whole world, don't ever let that go." Beckett Davis: I've been in love with Bailey Connors since I was 7 years old and she gave me back my soccer ball. We've been neighbors for years, even sharing windows facing each other's bedrooms. Our families are close, I view her grandfather as my own. The only thing is, I still can't bring myself to say more than a few words to the girl who occupies most of my thoughts. Going into my last year of high school, I needed the chance to have my world shifted by Bailey Connors. Bailey Connors: I broadcasted my crush on Beckett Davis in the 2nd grade after decorating him a cookie. And every time after that when I can't control how my face heats around him. My grandfather adores the boy next door, and who doesn't? I'm embarrassed of how long it took me to reach for things I may want, instead of just letting things happen to me. Beckett's seen some of my worst moments from afar, but what would it be like for him to see them up close? #1 in bookworm #1 in highschoolromance #1 in foundfamily #1 in goldenretriever #1 in neighbors #1 in teenromance #1 in friendstoloversConcluída

Gretchen Harper has always been practical. Dependable, solid, predictable. She's never taken risks, and she's especially never bought coffee for gorgeous professional athletes in airports. That is, until she meets her favorite baseball player on the worst day of his career. Being sent to the minor league is just the first of Joshua Malvern's many worries-he's got an injury that won't heal and his entire career and future are on the line. When a beautiful woman offers him coffee, that simple kindness is exactly what he needs to lift him out of his funk. He asks her to join him in first class, not expecting to end up joining her in bed. What starts as a one night stand ends up holding the promise for so much more. And while stepping out of her comfort zone has never been Gretchen's style, for a chance at true love she'll have to decide whether she'll swing for the fences, even if it means striking out. Chasing the New Girl - (Complete)
Jolie Watson was used to being invisible at her huge high school in New York City, but when her parents split up and her Mom moved them back to her tiny hometown in Illinois, she immediately caught the attention of all the guys in school. The fact that she was from New York City had everyone intrigued, because none of them had ever even met somebody from New York before. They were all curious about the new girl and they seemed to already know everything about her. Gossip spread really fast in that little town. When she accidentally let it slip to a friend that she was a virgin, the news spread around the school like wildfire and someone had the bright idea to create a website taking bets on which of the school's hottest guys would be the first to take her virginity. The three frontrunners were Austin Fox, her overachieving next door neighbor that was the cocky, arrogant quarterback of the football team but also happened to be top in their class and the Class President. The second one was Blaze McDaniels, the sexy, notorious bad boy that didn't believe in following rules and did whatever he had to do to survive. His scowl seemed intimidating at first but she soon found out there was a lot more to him than meets the eye. The third was Ryan Gentry, the rich country-club boy that always got what he wanted. After trying and failing to get the website shutdown, Jolie decided that she would just ignore it, but it was hard to know who to trust, who genuinely liked her and who was just in it to win the money. She was bound and determined that no one would win and she would stay a virgin until graduation, but would she be able to resist the temptation of these three guys? **** Very mature themes & sexual content - 18+ only! The Way I Loved You ✓
She'd die for love. He didn't believe in love. *** From reading The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, to watching 10 Things I Hate About You, to listening to You are in Love by Taylor Swift, Emily Kingsley's life is a sum of moments she has spent after romance. Watching, reading, listening or daydreaming, romance has never failed to comfort this high school junior of 17 years of age. She has her own issues: self-sabotage, lack of focus in studying, randomly popping up acne and not loving the way she looked. But she could forget all that as long as she is reading about two people falling in love and finding their happily ever after. Emily wants a romance for herself too, and she knows just the person for it. Landon McArther, a senior in her school. According to Emily, Landon is handsome, sophisticated, well-spoken and unlike any of the immature boys of her class who didn't get her at all. Landon was everything Emily has always dreamed about and moreover he appreciates her for the person she is. But there's just a teeny-tiny problem. Landon McArther has a girlfriend. While that wasn't in Emily's bingo card, she hopes, prays, and longs for the day Landon will be single (because he is Emily's soulmate, and he has to be) and awaits her chance for romance. At the same time, her seatmate in chemistry, the rumored delinquent, grumpy asshole Nathan Callahan, makes fun of her romantic dreams. Can Emily ever find true love? Completed. I Hate Football Players
Football players are assholes. I know - my brother is their king. Older and annoyingly overprotective, he's the star quarterback at Santa Cruz High School. I love him, but everyone worships the air he breathes and it's suffocating. After a traumatic experience with a quarterback three years ago, I want nothing to do with boys and dating. All that matters is getting into college, so I ace my classes and sign up for my school's student ambassador program to boost my applications. Thankfully, I have my best friend, Harper, to get me through high school being overshadowed by my brother. My plans for a quiet, low-key senior year are destroyed when my brother's cocky, arrogant rival keeps butting into my life. Logan Hightower is a total player who expects me to drool at his feet while he uses me to burn my brother's game. If he thinks I'll fall for his gorgeous looks and shallow charms, he's totally mistaken. He'll never succeed because I hate football players. Note: Some of the chapters have mature content, as marked. Swearing is blatantly rampant and sensitive chapters are marked with the associated trigger warnings. highest rankings: #1 lovestory, youngadult, quarterback, goodgirl, cute, texting, sports, slowburn, series, & California, highschool, teenager, teenfic, series, completed #2 romance This story is complete, edited, and totally revamped in 2023! -meConcluída

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart. Our story hasn't even started. ***** THE SPENCERS SERIES BOOK #1 © 2020 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved. One Short Story A Day PT2
I'm going to attempt to write a short story every day for a year. I just decided to load them onto Wattpad. Feel free to follow the journey, comment on the stories, and if you have any good writing prompts, I'd love to hear them. This is PART TWO, as I just found out there is a limit to how many chapters can be in a story on Wattpad.
