"I am not a star," Regulus argued, still trying to hide the smile that threatened to bloom on his face. James was always trying to make him smile.
"But you are," James said, nodding.
"I am not," Regulus smiled, not able to resist anymore. "There is several reasons for that."
"Tell me, Regulus," James replied, leaning even more forward, his eyes on him. James' eyes seemed darker during the night. In the day, when they would see each other during meals, his brown eyes would look lighter.
"First of all, I don't shine," he started, looking to the sky. That day, there was no clouds in the sky.
"Wrong," James cut him quickly in his tracks. "You are."
"What are you talking about."
"There is gold on your clothes," James said, eyeing at Regulus coat. "And when you smile, the night is over," he added with that charming smile of his, looking right into Regulus' eyes.
And Regulus scoffed, shaking his head. "It doesn't count."
"It does," James just answered.

1/3 So it starts when Regulus is in fifth year (15-year-old) and James is in sixth year (16-year-old). The dates might not be accurate but just go with it. After a horrible relationship, Regulus was found crying in the hall and James found him. James comforted him and then they went back to James' room. And that's how it starts. Some pregnancy scares and pregnancy at the end of the story. (just to have some drama for the next generation). (I'm horrible at description so I just hope you read it and like it) November 30, 2022- currently writing the sequel. James has been feeling confused. Does he really love Lily? Why does he feel like this? Will the dreams end? Will the stares last? James can only overcome these obstacles by going through them. This may not be the end of the world, but if anyone in his family finds out, him and James are dead. He needs to figure out if they will work, or just be better as people you see in the hallway. "Reggie? Regulus? Whats wrong?" James tried to reach out to him, but Regulus pulled himself away. His chest felt like it was being ripped out, his throat being scratched violently by the attack of petals climbing up. His coughing got louder and more violent before finally a handful of sunflowers fell into Regulus' hand. James stared down at him, an unknown expression on his face but Regulus didn't have time to study him. He tried to hide the petals but he knew he was to late. James had already seen them, and he could see the obvious splatter of blood on his chin. "What the fuck just happened? Are those sunflowers?" James once again tried to reach out to him, going for his hands, wanting to get a closer look, but Regulus snatched his hands away and took a few more steps back. "You- you didn't see that, do you hear me? You didn't see it" And before he knew it, he was already at the bottom of the astronomy tower stairs, leaving James standing in the middle of the tower. James never believed in the afterlife, ghost stories, or supernatural experiences. Of course, some magic was out there, but it's not like it was taught in a school. He didn't really care about it, he didn't care about death either, if you were dead, you were dead, end of the story. He tried not to think of it since his parents died. Pandora - his best friend, and at this time the only friend he felt close to - was a strong support in his life. She was a psychic and often made him shake his nonchalant attitude towards death and esoteric things. She was weird, and he liked it. After the death of his parents, James just wanted a quiet life, to have fun at his job, and maybe eat a pizza every Friday night. So, when he found out Pandora was spotting something odd behind him when he came back from the cemetery, he didn't know that it was the beginning of something, but not as quietly as he wanted. Why is James haunted? Why doesn't Pandora seem worried about it and doesn't push the ghost away? Why is this ghost - Regulus - so drawn to James? ★ Or, what if after his death, Regulus gets drawn to a stranger in a cemetery, following him as a ghost, slowly getting attached to him and maybe, just maybe, regretting dying?

When James wakes up, his head his pounding. He can't remember drinking anything, but supposes he must have because it feels like he's been hit square between the eyes with a bludger. He's never been one to get hungover, but he knows this is what it's supposed to feel like. Although, come to think of it, he doesn't remember celebrating their victory on the pitch, isn't completely sure they had one at all. The last thing he remembers is turning to look to the stands, revelling in the roars of his fellow Gryffindors, certain that they were going to beat Hufflepuff.
