Nevermore

Zora has spent her entire life under the influence of the human world. Born a Halfling, she is the offspring of a Fallen angel and a mortal woman. Prior to her birth, a Halfling hadn't been born in over sixty years. Her kind were used as pawns in wars fought on Earth, forced to settle discrepancies among the humans and keep the fate of the world out of the hands of the Daemon race. When disaster strikes in the human world, all of the Halflings are left on edge. When both the Fallen and Daemon become targets in a series of mysterious attacks, Zora must join forces with an unlikely ally only to discover that a new breed of immortal have emerged: the Nevermore.
