She stopped believing in fate and he thinks fate took everything he loved away

Delilah Rosewood and Logan Delacourt were best friends since they were in the womb. They had the perfect friendship. When they were 13 a family scandal separated the both of them and they never spoke to each other again. Five years later Delilah mastered the act of pretending. Her father spiraled down after the leave of her mother and he turned to alcohol and drugs to survive, she reminded him of her so bad she punished Delilah for her mom's sins. After years and scars of abuse, he kicked her out after she turned eighteen but she had saved every single penny of her salary to get out of there as soon as she could. That's when fate got her accepted to Leighton boarding school, for her senior year. When she arrived at her given room she saw him again for the first time after five years. They were forced to share a room, said room was full of anger, resentment, and pure hatred. Lo blamed her for not being there for him when he needed her the most; however, she was suffering all along and he didn't see it. Now this ice skater and hockey boy have to share a room and friends. Months of coexisting turned their hatred into love as they both revealed a bit of themselves until they were free. Lo's only mission was to look after his little sister Blair, and Delilah's was for survival. She has always been. She stopped believing in fate and he thinks fate took everything he loved away

What Delilah didn't know was that Elena had already slept with the groom. And she never stopped. For two years, Elena's been sharing her husband. And Delilah, completely unaware, confides in her like always-crying to her about how distant he's become, how cold his touch feels, how something just doesn't feel right. Elena listens patiently, holds her while she cries, and then goes back to the man Delilah calls hers. Every fear Delilah shares is another secret Elena carries straight into his arms. And to twist the knife even deeper, Elena spins her own fantasy. She gushes about a secret lover-a man who spoils her, buys her expensive gifts, and makes her feel like she's finally found the love she's always wanted. Delilah cheers her on. Laughs with her. Supports her. She never suspects the truth. She never thinks to look that close. Because who would ever suspect their best friend? This isn't just infidelity. This is heartbreak in disguise. And by the time Delilah learns the truth.. There may be nothing left of the life she built. "She calls it devotion, he calls it mistake, her friend calls it nothing but all three take. If the crime is shared and the truth is gone, who is the villain when everyone is wrong?"

Eleanor, 19, is living on borrowed time. She's continuing her studies not out of passion, but more out of survival instinct. Not because she dreams of a brilliant career, but because the idea of failing-and having to go back home-makes her sick. Home is a house full of heavy silences, unspoken blame, and above all, a mother consumed by addiction. Their relationship is an emotional minefield. Though physically distant, Eleanor is never truly free. And every call, every message from her mother threatens to pull her back into the chaos she's desperate to escape. At college, she tries to hang on. Her only support is Wallace, her best friend since middle school. Always there. Tall, protective, destined for a pro career in basketball. Wallace is steady, radiant-the complete opposite of the world Eleanor comes from. He helps her stay afloat. Keeps her from drowning. Until one day, a figure appears in a campus hallway-and everything shifts. Danny Shepard. The name alone freezes her in place. It takes Eleanor a moment to recognize him: the scrawny, furious boy she knew at sixteen has become a man. Calmer. Darker. More... unreadable. After assaulting his sports coach, Danny was sentenced to juvenile detention and vanished for four years. On his return, he was denied entry into the third year of med school. He enrolled elsewhere, at the bottom rung of the university ladder. Where Eleanor studies. And he doesn't recognize her. She, on the other hand, never forgot. The bond they shared-fragile and secret, woven during adolescence through stolen glances and charged silences-left a mark. But Danny seems to have erased her. Why? Has he truly forgotten? Or has he buried that part of his life? Eleanor senses that behind the cold mask, there's a war raging. Repressed memories. A guilt that never properly healed.
