A one-shot exploring another perspective from the character Rachel Andersen, a character created by @CriminalMinds2118 in his book The Snowman. @CriminalMinds2118 writes from Greyson's POV, so this is my take, but from Rachel's POV.
"It was all becoming so real, so fast, and something in me didn't want this to end. I didn't know what I thought, or how I felt about it. 'We're almost there, aren't we?'
"'Yes, we are,' he responded calmly, evoking in me a sense of ... betrayal? 'You'll be safe, away from all us killers.' He seemed to be trying for humour, but I couldn't stop myself from looking down. He worked his jaw the way he did when he was thinking. 'What's wrong?'
"'Nothing,' I said quickly, stepping away from him. 'I'm going to take a shower.' I fled before I could analyse his stunned expression."
This is an exert from the chapters "Roses are Red, Bruises are Black and Blue" and "A Killer Bedside Manner", written by me, from Rachel Andersen's POV. Prior knowledge of the book, The Snowman, would be very helpful, but if you want to read this purely for the sake of a short and sweet friends-to-lovers, feel free! :)
