Killian-Grey has survived on his own for five months since the world was taken over by the dead. Desperation drives him to accidentally stealing somebody's food. A plea for help after being stabbed is answered by Jasper Adachi, an ex-military soldier determined to save the innocent and bring Killian back to the safety of his group.
The two make an unlikely pair, but soon realize their survival may depend on one another more than they had initially thought. When the time comes, will Killian join Jasper's group, or wander out on his own once again?
