Akumu is a 13 and a half year old boy who dreams of becoming a pilot. He takes online ground-school in order to learn how to fly sailplanes, which is the first step to being a pilot. His mother disappeared around a year ago, so he lives with his cruel father, who constantly verbally abuses him, and nearly discourages him from attempting to achieve his dreams of being a pilot.

Kon is nearly 14 years old, a professional level skater boy, who has been recently, and violently, dumped by his boyfriend Ryu.

Akumu means nightmare, or bad dream in Japanese. Akumu's father says that his existence is a nightmare, so that is what he should be named.

Will they be able to heal each others broken hearts when they literally run into eachother?
