Bakugo likes deku but doesn't really show it. He's really tough on the outside but sometimes is soft, then gets angry about it. But because of this quirk he was hit buy it makes him more affectionate. 

Deku has always liked and admired Bakugo sense they where little.

In the midst of everything 3 super strong villians appear. Izuku finds childhood friend battling for his life. As the two try escape another huge explosion goes off and traps the two underground in a buildings basement.
