Its about dawn when I wake up to get up to go to my piece of shit job. I turn on the morning news to a startling news report, one of my co-workers had just died in a house fire. investigation reports show that the cause of the fire was because someone was careless and left the stove on. There so happened to be a cloth that was close enough that the flames could touch the cloth. By time the fire rescue got there they were to late.

LOCK DOORS, STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS" i lay amelia in her bed, out of my lap. I lock the windows and the doors. When i came back, i missed whatever the alert was about...i should have waited.
