Claire is a rare species, with both vampire and werewolf coursing through her veins. She was living with her nymph parents, Gina and Craig, whom Claire suspected used to know her dead father. Her real mother is out there somewhere, or possibly dead.

But that doesn't matter right now. Right now, Claire is in serious danger. She's so different from everyone out there, that the slightest secret revealed could put a jolting end to her life. Even when the powers are immense and advantageous, rarity comes at an extremely high cost.

Lab experts out there would do anything to dissect her body.
Vampires can sniff out her richness from miles away.
The deadly vampire, Bishop, wants her. She's so precious and a wonderful prize.
