The endless war that uprooted the lives of half our galaxy has finally come to savage our Corridor. We had seen nothing like the destruction we did on that day in recorded history... so many innocents brutally lost their lives and I just stood there watching- clutching to his corpse like a cub that'd lost it's mother. The cries of death from my men were drowned out by the roaring flames and, just like before...
 I was utterly alone.




[Yes, I'm starting with book 2- because book 1 is nonessential and is basically just character building; I will go back and write it. But for now, enjoy the book that kick starts the massive story of Scarlex!

Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards.
