What happens when Eldrith's five ruling families-the Auclairs, Aeolus, Achelous, Heroux, and Hermes-get tangled up in a mess? The residents of a once-prosperous kingdom and the mythological creatures they had tamed set out to wipe off one family in particular. In the midst of the anarchy, misunderstandings, mystery, deceit, wickedness, and every dark aspect began to install themselves, providing yet more fuel for the Eldrith. Starting with a coordinated attack against Roseanne Esmeray Auclair's family, the other three families claimed that the Auclair had broken the holy agreement and launched the war. Yet the Auclair insisted they were the ones with no wrongdoing. Can families in Hvalba ever again live in peace and prosperity if they are all keeping secrets from one another? If not, will it remain a land of bloodshed? Or there's something that emerges in between, claiming to destroy everything underneath?
