A pathological liar, Eliza-Quin Harley, hasn't been doing so good at making friends since moving hours from home for college and when confronted by her best friend who is only worried about the usually bubbly girl, a lie is born. Coming from a large family where she is the middle of seven and so much good and bad is expected from her, it's no wonder a break down is close to happening. Only if she had told the truth and spared her family's feelings. But it's too late, and her pride is too high.

A professional liar, actor Jax, is only in college to spend and waste his parent's money until they take him seriously. Being the baby of three genius and kind siblings leaves the all too serious young man feeling bitter. He fails classes he doesn't need while perfecting his acting until a trip to Hollywood is presented to him. Only problem is he is now forced to pass all of his classes for the year to be eligible.

When Eliza uses her big brain to come up with a terrible idea to fool her friends and family into thinking all is well, Jax's roommate falls for the complicated girl earning sparks to ignite in Jax.
You might think you know what will happen, but are you right? Only the time will tell.

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. Angie Jones is poor. And not the cute "I wish I could afford Prada" poor, but rather the "a notebook or a sandwich?" kind. But she has a plan. She'll study hard, get a full scholarship and go to college. Then, maybe she can land a job which would allow her to help her family more. But her dreams of a perfect GPA shatter when her biology teacher decides studying won't be enough to pass his class. Enter Tom, a mysterious DJ who knows everything there is to know on the subject. And as an added bonus, he offers to tutor Angie for free. If only he wouldn't be so much fun and so damn good looking. Tom didn't know he had a generous bone in his body, and yet he offered one of his few free afternoons to a total stranger. One he's getting much too attached to after his recent brush with lost love and drama. There's just something about her, a mystery he needs to unravel that goes beyond her beauty. And it's deeply seeded in her refusal to relax around him or anyone else. The closer they come to each other, the more complicated their lives get. And when the truth finally comes out, all hell breaks loose. After all, it was nothing but a wrong impression. 🔱🔱🔱 Warning: This is frustrating poor people bad romance.
