Kassi Moore Brookeston is traveling alongside her new buddy, Alexander until he mysteriously decides to take a walk because she accidentally blushed too hard. Alexander never returned.

Kassi soon learns that she's suffering from cancer and won't be living much longer. As she makes her final decision, she finds out that Alexander had left again. She was heartbroken.
