Autumn is a 16 year old girl who has a fear of the water, and everything to do with it. On the first day of summer vacation, her mom decides to take them on a cruise, despite her daughters fear. She, her mother, and her dog leave, and she is kind of excited, but the voice inside her head is telling her differently. But when something sudden happens, her fear becomes very real. Autumn and her dog get stranded on Jaco island, South East Asia. But they are not alone. Another person is there, and they must work together to stay alive until they get rescued.

Sam lived a simple life. Just her, her father, and her cat, all living happily on her father's boat. Of course, no one can be happy for long...what kind of story would that be? Sam's life gets swept up into a hurricane-literally. She becomes separated from her father, stranded on an island with no escape. What dangers await her on this island? How will she survive?
