The pretty, snowy town of Artemis holds a secret.
Dawn Dennis has the perfect life working as a barista in the city and hanging out with her interesting neighbor, Darren Blackmore.
However, when she finds a peculiar man at her door, she begins to realize that things are not quite as they seem in the town.
A dinner date meal leaves Dawn with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to quiet Artemis forest to find some answers.
At first the people of Artemis are bold and hopeful. She is intrigued by her curiously remarkable friend psychiatrist, Sarah Khan. However, after she introduces her to strong doses of marijuana, Dawn slowly finds herself drawn into a web of theft, murder and violence.
