In 1943, Aurora just wanted to get through her fifth year without being noticed. That was, until, she attracted the attention and inevitable obsession of an older, enigmatic student called Tom. In the aftermath of their graduation from Hogwarts, the tides of life pulled Tom and Aurora in opposite directions amidst the backdrop of a cityscape scarred by war. A chance encounter at a bustling train station many, many years later reignites the dormant flames of their forgotten bond. The familiar glint in each other's eyes, now matured by the passage of time, sparks a distant nostalgia, but for two haunted souls that share an unsettling connection, a bond isn't enough to transcend the darkness that envelops them. The reunion is tinged with an ominous undercurrent as the remnants of their past resurface, casting long, eerie shadows on their present.

The lines between victim and perpetrator blur, and the distinction between right and wrong becomes a foggy, elusive concept. The once familiar streets of London transform into a nightmarish labyrinth where every step forward unveils a new layer of deception.

Love, no matter how misconstrued it is by the masses, can be taught, and felt in a multitude of different ways; just as Tom Riddle, who would later metamorphosise into a formidable monster, learned to succumb to a dark and dangerous power, he once learned how to love, too - with the unexpected aid of a quiet girl with the name of an angel that could draw things to life.
