Kaito, or Kai for short, who ate an unknown Devil Fruit, was just a young man with an ambition to become a master battle strategist and merchant for a crew. But, with his merchant parents gone and somewhat stranded on Jaya, how is he supposed to achieve his dream? One day in Mocktown, Jaya, Kaito meets some pirates that want to go up to the Sky Island. After he, the apes, and Cricket helped them out with fortifying their ship and the pirates helping Cricket get his gold back, Guramii joins them to Skypiea, and to fulfill his dreams. Compared to them, she looked like an ant, and her behavior reminded him of such creatures. Not particularly strong due to her size, but resilient, and not afraid to ask for help when she needed it.
