BOTW: The Lonely Knight
It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. There is no time travel and the sequel to this story is "Love in Zora's Domain". Botw Reimagined
This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.
