The sun shone bright through the shiny window. Just one streak of light was all that was needed to awake Jasmine from her dream. It made the inside of her eyelid glow. The light made her face warm and gently it encouraged Jasmine to move her hand from her soft cosy sheets to her eye to give it an awaking rub. Slowly she sat up and looked around the room that she was not yet familiar with. She stretched across the big bed and reached for her lamp to add more light to the room. " how did I get here, maybe if I had have changed the way I spoke, they wouldn't have been able to tell I wasn't British" she thought about how stupid she had been. Jasmine thought about the days, when at home in Australia, she would have not a care in the world because war was away, but now...She felt cold and butterflies bloomed in her stomach at the thought of what happened back home. About the invasion and deaths and hostages. About the fighting and arrows and swords. About the sound of a head roll.

In the historic city of Bologna, where ancient architecture whispered stories of the past and the air was thick with the scent of blooming jasmine, Maria immersed herself in the demanding world of medicine. Every late-night study session in the shadow of the university's grand buildings and every early morning lecture was a testament to her dedication, yet there was an undercurrent of mystery that tugged at her thoughts-a feeling that someone was watching her, even when she couldn't see him. It began subtly, with the gentle rustle of paper as she discovered notes tucked beneath her door, their words both unsettling and strangely thrilling. Each note was a puzzle piece, revealing fragments of a soul she both despised and yearned to understand. The gifts-delicate flowers, small trinkets-appeared as if by magic, leaving her torn between indignation and intrigue. When Liliana signed up to become a private flight attendant, she believed she had a general idea of what the job entailed. Strictly professional. What she didn't expect was for the mysterious, strict, straightforward Mr. Cavalier to take an interest in her outspoken yet naïve nature. With a stubborn billionaire refusing to take 'No' for an answer, Liliana finds herself on a ride of a lifetime, filled with heated close encounters, daring conversations, not to mention a dash of drama. Will Liliana be able to withstand Mr. Cavalier's lusty and endless pursuit? Or will the outspoken hostess reject the hot billionaire once and for all? __________________________________ He didn't speak. He never spoke. I knew that he was able to speak, but whenever I was around it seemed that I was the only one speaking. He didn't seem to enjoy my presence, but then again that wouldn't be true given that he requested for me to host, on my day off. His eyes were not friendly, his jaw and lips that never smiled told me to always be on guard. I could always feel his eyes on me, and I know its him, or else my heart wouldn't be acting the way it was. ... And yet, here I am, patting down the wrinkles on my skirt, as his car approached the Jet. I was rather angry. It was my day off. I wasn't even on call. I told Jenna that I wouldn't come in today and that he'd have to find someone else. Apparently this man didn't take "No" for an answer. He had his personal body guard arrive at my door, and I wouldn't be too surprised as to how he got my address. The scary man was ready to drag me from my house, I was driven to his private Aircraft and now I had to play hostess. When he stepped out of the car, his eyes looked up to me. Had he smiled or even acknowledged my presence, maybe I would be free to assume that he was happy to see me.

"Wake up." The icy splash of water jolted Jasmine awake, her breath hitching as reality crashed down. Disoriented and trembling, she barely registered a hand striking her cheek. The sharp sting and the metallic tang of blood grounded her in a nightmare she couldn't escape. Sebastian loomed over her, his presence as sharp and cold as the venom in his voice. "Welcome, princess. How do you find Montague's hospitality?" His smirk was colder than the water dripping from her face. "I bring news," he continued, his words cutting like a blade. "Your father has finally met justice-straight to hell." Jasmine froze, tears welling in her eyes. "No," she whispered, shaking her head. "What happened to my father? What did you do to him?" Sebastian's smirk twisted into something darker. "What did I do?" he repeated, his voice low and venomous. "I gave your father exactly what he deserved-for destroying my sister's life, for tearing my family apart." He leaned in closer, his gaze piercing and unrelenting. "But don't mistake this for an ending, Jasmine. This is only the beginning." Her voice cracked as she pleaded, "Please-you've got it wrong. My father and I would never harm anyone!" Sebastian's grip tightened on her chin, his unrelenting gaze boring into her. "Spare me your innocence," he hissed. "I should be glad he's dead-but I'm not because I didn't kill him myself. So I'll settle for you. Every tear, every ounce of pain, will torment him in his grave." Even as fear consumed her, Jasmine's voice trembled with defiance. "You're wrong. Whatever you think you know, it's a lie." Jasmine's memories were fragmented, her past shrouded in mystery. She couldn't even remember her father's face, let alone the sins this man accused them of. She didn't know where to begin, or who to turn to for answers. But one thing was clear: He wasn't just her captor-he was her storm. And the storm between them had only begun.

There is something everyone is blind to At 5:00 a.m., the sun rises early. An old maid, dressed neatly with an eyeglass strap around her neck and an expressionless face, enters a house. Despite being recently built and located near the roadside, the house appears shabby due to the untended walls and garden, which are covered with large bushes and vines. As the maid steps into the villa, she is greeted by darkness and gloom. She opens the windows, allowing the hot air to escape and letting in a sliver of light from outside. This light reveals a stunning interior filled with a variety of intriguing items. Anyone who sees the neatly arranged books and items inside would never believe that the outside and the inside are part of the same building. She prepares a delightful breakfast and carries the freshly made French toast and a glass of orange juice to the first floor. Anyone who sees it would think she is serving a god. Another dark room greeted her. Inside, a young, attractive girl in her 20s with long, straight black hair was reading a book in bed. As the maid entered, the girl turned towards her. Despite being blind, she held a book in her hand, a sight that might evoke laughter or sympathy from others. The maid, however, remained emotionless. As the maid placed the dish on the table and was about to leave, she said, "Ma'am, it's breakfast time." There were no words, just a small nod. The girl called out 'Emma'.The maid turned to face the girl, this time she was smiling

"Sir here is your card. I'll head to my room. Good night sir, Ms. Collins Have a wonderful night" He smiled at her and Jane replied to him with a beautiful smile. The smile I've been dying to see. Suddenly the smile faded when she saw me staring at her. "Where's my key? I need to rest" She asked John before he left and that question brought a goofy smile on my face. "Sorry Ms. Collins, but Mr. Greenwood said you both will be sharing the penthouse" The shock on her face made me want to laugh out loud but her gaze was. If only her gaze could kill. I'll be 6fts down by now. "What!" She yelled. "Came down Jane. It's not as if we're going to share a bed" I replied nonchalantly. But that won't be a bad idea. "You're unbelievable. You perv. Can't I have my space? Gosh!" She said angrily. John noticed the tension between us and decided to walk away. He was about to leave but Jane stopped him again. "John why don't you share a suite with Mr. Greenwood and I'll take your room," She said smiling like she just solved a puzzle. John turned to look at me and I gave him the ' say yes and I'm gonna kill you' look. "Ms. Collins, don't worry you're going to be fine. Bye!" John said and rushed to his room. Good choice my friend, good choice. I turn to face Jane with a smile of satisfaction. "Ms. Collins, I guess you're stuck with me," I said making her clench her teeth. "Am I allowed to sleep in the hotel's washroom? Trust me the last thing I wanna do is to share a space with you" She said and walked towards our suite. We got inside and our luggage was brought up almost immediately. Jane took her luggage and entered her room without saying goodnight. "Goodnight to you too. Don't forget we have a meeting at 8 am," I said out loud for her to hear and she shut her door with force making a loud bang.
