The Garden Gnomes were once the most powerful species on Earth until the Dread Witch Kalroth reduced them to little more than ornaments, fit enough only to decorate gardens.
However, the curse was not as permanent as the Dread Witch had hoped, because, for one hour every day, the Gnomes return to life.
