Side Character Syndrome - Dabi x Reader

At the age of 16, I considered myself as her side character, her shadow, nobody else's but hers. I watch as a redheaded male walks into the class, Todoroki Toya... "Toya-kun!" I hear her shout, I follow behind her and peek my head out of her shoulder, "Toya-kun! This is Y/n-sama!" I nod my head at him and walk back to my seat.

At the age of 18, I no longer associate myself with her, I want to live freely, not in somebody's shadow. I watch her break down in front of me, crying for comfort, Todoroki Toya, the name that has often been brought up, but today, she cries in despair, as the love of her life has fallen and lost his life from losing control of his quirk.

At the age of 24, I reunite with a familiar face, ocean blue eyes meet mine on the battlefield. "Todoroki...?" I question trying to dodge his flaming attacks and protect these kids. His eyes widen as he aims for my head, this time I use his flames against him, with his flame dancing around in my palm and burning me, I ask again "Todoroki Toya?" he shakes his head and smiles.

Hihi! Before you being I'd like to clear a couple of things up
- This is a Highschool AU - Yet it still will follow the MHA timeline when we get to Y/n at 18-23ish, it'll be easier to understand when you read it lol.
There will be two review chapters, the first one will be my announcements channel and just me channelling my inner thoughts and just being super damn weird n shit (no one likes an author note).
