Loralei Prentiss always grew up in her older sister's shadow: Emily Prentiss was the favorite child, always smarter, prettier, and bound to amount to more than her younger sister Loralei. So when Emily finds a job at the BAU as a near genius profiler, Loralei knows she is nowhere near landing a job there. Figuring it can't hurt to try, she submits an application for a new liason position (not knowing what the word even meant, but it was the most qualified one available), and is shocked when she receives a call from a man that goes by "Agent Hotchner." Starting this new position would not only mean working for the FBI, the country's most intelligent office, but also alongside her unruly sister.
