Melanie Daniels has had a hard time meeting people since her previous boyfriend passed away. As a result, she goes out less and less, and has even had trouble making friends. Her younger sister Lyla decided it was time to force her out of her shell and send her on a blind date. Little did she know that this date would turn out to be so terrible that Melanie would rather never speak to new people again. Lucky for Melanie, a sweet young guy working the cafe helped her out of that terrible date. What happens when she sees cafe guy walking around campus the next day? Is fate in their favor? Most importantly, is fate in HER favor?
