It's my fault. __ Even though the Hunger Games are gone, reduced to the hauntingly horrifying memory of those who took place in it, the demons of Katniss Everdeen's past loom over her, with her wherever she goes. Though she will learn to cope with her losses with the help of Peeta Mellark, whom she holds closely to her heart. This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. And should she tell him about her dark yet strange past? Peeta easily falls for Katniss he wants to know more about her, her family,her life and he knows she has some secrets.
