This short story is open for interpretation, I wrote it specifically so that the reader can come up with their own idea of what's going on. However, the story was originally written to be read in this context, if you've finished reading or simply cannot figure out what on earth is going on: A lonely old man has passed on in the night, awakening in his cabin on the beach which he shared with his late wife. He sees a little raven perched on his windowsill, whom he chases. He follows the raven to the sea, a rollercoaster of an emotional journey on his way. He loses the raven and gives up hope, but lo and behold among the waters is his late wife and the little bird, beckoning him in. In this story the raven represents an angle of death, guiding the man on his journey to the afterlife, symbolised by the ocean. I hope you enjoyed this silly little story and have a good day <33All Rights Reserved
