This is the in progress first draft of a story set in my own world. I implore you to read it with critical eyes, so I can improve the story as I go.
The story is about a civil war between to sections of what starts out as Phouttz. It's a militarized country that owns land across the whole continent. That's as much of a summary as I have at the moment, but I hope you enjoy!

In a world where 80% of the population has developed unique mutations in their genetic codes, giving them "superpowers", or "quirks", as they call it, it doesn't take long for fantasy and imagination to emerge out of the earth. Au in which Eddy and Brett are living in China and are sons of poor peasants. They are working in different factories and best friends (or could there be more than friendship?) The story takes place in the early 20th century but planes are already invented and there are airports and stuff. I tried to orient a bit on the actual historical situation in the countries, but it's definitely not 100% accurate! You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't...
