Underneath the Cherry Blossom Tree

16-year-old Lotus has gone to stay at her grandmother's for the holidays. She is as free as a bird within the house - until it comes to the attic.

No one is allowed in the attic.

However, despite her grandmother's wishes, she disobeys and is compelled to climb the rickety staircase to the attic, in which she finds nothing but a door.

Naturally, Lotus goes through the door and is found in another world, where she finds her one true love waiting for her as if in a dream...
