Nathan Baker hates Julian Cruz. He hates his snarky attitude, he hates how overly confident he is, but most of all--he hates how good he is at football. He hates how stupid Roosevelt High school took home the championship trophy and the way the stupid rival team picked up his stupid rival, chanted his stupid name while he looked at Nathan with a stupid grin. Yep, Nathan hates him. But this year is his year. He's the captain of the Cortland Foxes football team, he's the starting quarterback, and he finally is back on good terms with his on and off girlfriend, Veronica. Senior year is the year. That is until on the first day of training the coach introduces someone who, in fact, does not need an introduction and Nathan almost explodes with anger on the spot. The feeling of hatred is very much mutual for Julian Cruz. He hates Nathan Baker with every fiber in his body. He hates his Hollywood attitude, he hates how rich he is, but greater than all--he hates how good he is at football. Sure, Julian had made the lucky catch and managed to make the final touchdown of the championship game and win, sure, he was praised as a God for the rest of that school year and got scouted by a couple college coaches. But none of that matters now that he and his Mom have gotten kicked out from their apartment and the only place they could find is too far to continue his laid-back life at Roosevelt High. It doesn't matter anymore because now he is forced to go to the one school in the world he would never have chosen if given the chance. Cortland High school, home of the foxes and his worst enemy. Well, since they're on the same team now they have to reach some sort of compromise...right? Who knows, maybe, just maybe, they'll like each other more than either of them thought.

Put someone who is too good for you beside someone you want but can never have, spice things up with a relentless bully and a few suspicious personalities, then you get Oliver's first semester in Denberg University. Oliver Wilburn, a once sad case, learns to love and accept himself a lot more in the university with the help of his day one friends, and a handful of new friends he makes during his first few weeks in Denberg. Faced with a rich diversity of people, he opens his mind to the endless possibilities of a student's life. Casper Stenchrow, his bully from highschool, poses to be a hindrance to his transformation campaign when he finds out he attends the same university as him. Oliver is unknowingly caught up in a love pentagon with him as the centre of attraction, but he has his eyes on someone in particular. Whilst trying to avoid Casper, he finds himself developing feelings for one of his new friends, a straight one at that. Torn between letting himself fall deeper in love and the impending heartbreak, he snaps after an awfully long period of emotional struggles and confesses his feelings to his friend. His first semester is an odyssey filled with bad choices, rejection, and betrayal. Will Olly get a happy ending? He deserves a happy ending. Everyone does.
