This is a Marcel Galliard fic, mostly because I've been really drawn to his character and the 'what ifs' that circled my mind if he had survived, and there's also so very little media revolving around him.. So this is just a reader insert, plus Marcel lives AU. .

For many years, the Schnee family only had sons, making it so the family titan could not be used to its full potential, that was until Y/n's mother was born. Instead of being used as a warrior, she was sold and married to a Marleyan man to continue the bloodline. Soon, Y/n was born, and every single day of her life was dedicated to serving the motherland. Finally, the Mimic Titan was bestowed upon Y/n, and she was sent to Paradis Island on a mission to retrieve the Founding Titan along with other warriors. It was never meant to last this long, and before she knew it, everything she once believed in started to become a blur. Paradis was never meant to feel like home, relationships were never meant to be made, and she most certainly was never supposed to fall in love.
