It stung. The feeling of knowing the reason for being an outcast can't be defined. Something not human boiling inside, knowing you'll have to go to that damned camp where beyond the border you swear you see some magical barrier holding you captive. A small break from bullying and the start of dealing with an unreasonable aunt for the next few weeks. Which would you rather?

What if there was a new option? What if you managed to end up on the other side of that barrier. A summer without either of the things you dread, no one would pass up that option. Parker would certainly not pass up on that option. And their love for all things fantasy, this was a dream come true. That dream can thrive just as long as they don't get caught up in any of the games set up by the higher ups. 

This story is one I've been working on for the past 5 years now, that I'm finally able to start writing proper chapters on. I am so happy that people can begin to enjoy this story after all this time. Please vote or comment any critiques or things you've liked about this story. "Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips; his hands gently gripping my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His beautiful, hazy blue eyes -that had turned straight quicksilver, again- were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a small group of kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding, the only problem is, he's a guy. The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. My mother says my endless curiosity and my need to venture is a curse. I thought I was normal. That's what I was always led to believe anyways. But then one day a portal opened up in my closet and someone yanked me onto the other side. Funny how quickly things can go from "meh, my life kinda sucks" to "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!" in a matter of seconds. Now I have to end a freaking war. I only have one question really.
