It stung. The feeling of knowing the reason for being an outcast can't be defined. Something not human boiling inside, knowing you'll have to go to that damned camp where beyond the border you swear you see some magical barrier holding you captive. A small break from bullying and the start of dealing with an unreasonable aunt for the next few weeks. Which would you rather? What if there was a new option? What if you managed to end up on the other side of that barrier. A summer without either of the things you dread, no one would pass up that option. Parker would certainly not pass up on that option. And their love for all things fantasy, this was a dream come true. That dream can thrive just as long as they don't get caught up in any of the games set up by the higher ups. This story is one I've been working on for the past 5 years now, that I'm finally able to start writing proper chapters on. I am so happy that people can begin to enjoy this story after all this time. Please vote or comment any critiques or things you've liked about this story. I hope to improve on my writing so that I can actually publish it one day :)
