The Shadow World thought that doom would approach them as soon as they got word of the Mortal Cup's new owner; Valentine Morgenstern. This was because now, he could, in fact, create an army loyal only to himself. However, not all goes according to plan, when he raids a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and kidnaps a certain young woman by the name of Ethel Walters. That one action may just begin to change his luck for the worst.

In which Ethel Walters grows up as the daughter of a fantasy novel author, and greatly disbeliefs in the supernatural. That is until she's kidnapped by a Shadowhunter cult, which leads her down a path of truth unveiling. Here, she will discover new things about her past, venture into a tremendously dangerous present, and step into an uncertain future. All the while, she's supported by her new friends at the New York Institute, with one of them in particular catching her eye.

Jonathan Morgensterns' Twin, Rafe Lightwood.
Rafe Oskar Lightwood neè Morgenstern is the slightly younger, mostly identical twin brother of Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern. Due to how little demon blood he actually has in his system, unlike his twin brother, Rafe was raised alongside Jace Herondale at the Wayland Estate. The demon blood has given Rafe one particular gift though. He can sense blood connections between people. Because of this, both he and Jace know that Jace isn't really Valentines' son, but that doesn't make their bond any less strong. Rafe and Jonathan share a small Mark, which has been on their forearms since birth. This Mark enables them to know how close they are to each other, as well as feel each others' emotions. The closer the twins are to each other, the darker the Mark gets. But this comes with drawbacks. Because of Jonathan being in the Seelie Realm, whenever Rafe gets too worked up and angry, Jonathan feels it and gets angry as well. This results in them both coughing blood until they can calm themselves down. And if one twin dies, the Mark will fade to a silvery scar, but never fully heal beyond that. Due to Ragnor Fell often helping Jocelyn and Clary hide when they are being tracked, and having helped him during his first nasty coughing fit that nearly killed him and Jonathan, Rafe is quite close to Ragnor. They trained together, go on missions together, and did everything together. Kayla and Isabelle are parabatai, like Jace and Alec is. The four was best friends had a inseparable bond. Just like Jace was close to Alec, so was Kayla. Her and Alec was very close. She was the one person he opened up to, and showed a different side of him. As they grew older Kayla grew feelings for Alec, as did Alec. Soon they started dating and have been since. The four shadow hunters' daily life was the same, they went on a missions and killed demons. That was until Clary Fray came along. What will happen once she comes along and finds out that she is a shadow hunter herself like her mother and learns about the shadow world. What will happen when they find out Valentine is still alive and has Jocelyn Fray; Clary's mother.
