A daughter on his doorstep!

Avery Spencer's life was irrevocably altered when her sister died in childbirth, leaving her little baby in Avery's care. She's already fallen in love with her niece, Nell, and is determined to become her guardian. But she can't do that until she finds Callum Shepard and tells him that he has a daughter.

Callum is shocked to find Avery and Nell on his doorstep, and the reclusive farmer doesn't trust Avery's motives. As he spends time with her, however, he discovers a warm and kind woman who would do anything for her family. The attraction that springs up between them complicates everything, especially when Callum starts to realize that he wants to be a dad to his daughter.

Avery's careful plans are shattered when Callum's gentle touch steals her heart. But Callum is far from a sure thing, and Avery won't put an innocent child in the middle. How can she do what's right for Nell and protect her heart at the same time?
