Colombina, foreign to a new world she's never seen until now has found herself being recruited into the Fatui. Some of the world's most brilliant and cunning criminals who are an underground organization and handle only the worst gigs given to them by their leader, Tsaritsa. Unknowing as to what she's gotten herself into, Bina is left fending for herself despite having so many new 'friends' around. That is, until a familiar spider manages to lead her into a web that Colombina surprisingly doesn't mind being in.
Arlecchino, was born into this gruesome world. She knows the inside and outs of it. As well as the people in its weaknesses. As she's newly appointed to head of the House of the Hearth, she's given a proposition by none other than Dottore himself. Having the encounter not go well, Arlecchino is forced to agree to his terms, but with a twist. That she will need to convince this new attendee to be Dottore's new science experiment.
But it doesn't take long for the little dove to figure things out on her own. Before anyone knows it, both girls are done with the manipulation and decide to become the manipulators.
It creates both of them to wonder; if they can't trust anyone else in the world, then maybe they can at least trust each other.
