When Kami Vixen starts getting strange feelings about her family, she brushes it off as a phase before she leaves them for college. But, as she and her sister, Breanna, soon find out, their aunt and uncle aren't who they thought they were.

Kami's not who she thought she was, either. She's not even from Earth.

Taken to her home realm, Dream, Kami is told she is the heir to the ruling kingdom. But, she's not the only one. Twenty million children and teens are also heirs to the throne, and no one in Dream knows who the rightful ruler is.

As it is, Kami, Breanna, and the other twenty million heirs must prove they are the Ruler of Dreams by completing a long, long list of tests set up by the people of Dream. There's only one spot to be filled. Will it be Kami who takes it?

Who is the rightful ruler?
