Ney'tiri faced me, her eyes filled with tears and her face contorted with anger. She warned me, "If my son dies, you will pay the price."
In response, I apologized profusely, insisting that I didn't intend for any of this to happen. Despite my pleas, Ney'tiri refused to listen, consumed with rage. She took hold of her bow and flew away on her ikran.
Feeling helpless, I turned to Lo'ak, tears streaming down my face. "She's going to kill me," I told him.
Lo'ak comforted me, assuring me that Ney'tiri wouldn't harm me, reminding me that Neteyam wouldn't have wanted it that way.
