Luz has involuntarily spent most of her summer at a gruesome boot camp. As she throws herself a pity party after losing a sparring match, she indulges back into her passed as she reminisces and reverts back to her magic thinking ways.
Finally given the opportunity to leave the camp, she finds herself infront of the mystical door that had sent her to another dimension years prior.
Will she be able to handle what lies on the other side of the door?

Luz tries to convince her mom to opt out of it, but her mom agrees with the principal's decision. Luz is forced to pack and leave two days before the second semester and live with her Mom's friend, Eda. On the way, she meets a few people and a minty-haired devil standing before her eyes. She finds herself intrigued by the girl and tries to get closer to her. Will Luz find friends and adjust to her new life at Hexside? Will she get close to the minty-haired girl? Or will she drown in her self-pity? Find out. WARNING.
